Becoming SafeRoomMates certified allows you to differentiate yourself from other roommate seekers, by giving your potential roommates access to your verified background information. Our certified roommates believe in giving others the security of knowing that they are not only the best choice, but also the honest choice.
To
become SafeRoomMates certified, we must first confirm your identity with our ID Verification Check. Once we verify that the information you have provided is correct we then perform our National Criminal and Sex Offender Search. If you choose the highest certification
level, we will also perform a County Criminal Search in the county
that you currently reside in.
After your certification process is
complete, we will immediately send you an email with a unique
username and password that will allow you to access your
account for 60 days. We will also send you a SafeRoomMates Secure Order Key
that you can give your potential roommates so that they can see you are the best SafeRoomMates choice.
