County Criminal Records Search
The records from these courts are the data which makes it's way to the state databases and the SafeDate check. There are occasionally errors in reporting the data correctly to the state repositories, which makes a follow-up check of the county in which the subject lives a vital part of insuring that nothing is missed. We take this extra step to insure you are getting the most complete and cost-effective criminal records search available. Some counties charge additional fees for this information - for a list of counties that charge additional fees, click here.
ID Verification with Address History
SafeRoomMate's identity verification is accomplished by matching the social security number of the subject with the name and date of birth. If all three match up, you can feel more comfortable knowing this person exists. If any of the 3 "identifiers" are off, we let you know! In addition, this verification provides a comprehensive address history that can further assist you in both knowing it is your subject, but also letting you know where you may wish to add additional criminal history searches.
National Criminal Records Database Search
Similar to the Sex Offender / Violent Offender Database Search, the National Criminal Records Database Search will scour all available criminal records databases for all levels of serious Misdemeanor and Felony records. While you won't find parking tickets, you will likely discover if your potential partner has any type of criminal history. Click here to see if your State or County is represented in the database. Even if you're not, he or she may have moved or visited other locations. This is the most sweeping criminal records check available and when combined with the current county search, you can feel like you have armed yourself with the best information available.
National Sex Offender/Violent Offender Database Search
According to the FBI's Uniform Crime Report, the latest statistics show that nearly 1 out of every 200 people in the general population has committed a violent crime. Violent crimes include Murder, Rape, Robbery and Aggravated Assault. What are the odds that you will find one of these offenders in your search for a partner? While it's no guarantee you won't ever become a victim, you can help mitigate the risk with a SafeRoomMates database search.
